General
It's all free. With an easy-to-use search and free email alerts you'll never miss an event - and if you're an organiser you can add as many events as you like at no cost, with fair and affordable fees for premium listings.
To ensure equity and to respond to ability to pay, event organisers wishing to take out a premium listing are charged at a rate that reflects their country of location. For pricing and solutions for your event, please contact us.
Both. Events, conferences, training courses, seminars and public lectures are relevant to academics, lecturers, students, business owners, employees, employers, and the general public. Search and create an alert - there's bound to be an event for you.
Events are added by organisers in higher education, research institutes, government and public bodies, as well as independent training providers and businesses promoting their services. To add an event, just sign up and follow the steps.
If you signed up using a social provider (Google, Facebook, etc.), please reset your details with that provider.
If you signed up with your email address, you can reset your password here.
EventCentral.me lets users add their own events. We use multiple techniques to verify the accuracy of the information our users provide, but because identity verification on the internet is difficult, we cannot confirm the identity of every user or the validity of every listing.
If you have a concern about a listing — how it's described, accuracy issues, or because it's distasteful, promoting harassment, hate or violence - please report it via our contact page.
If you have a query about the event itself (schedule, speakers, refunds), please contact the event organisers directly using the link on the event page.
If you signed in using a social provider (Google, Facebook, etc.), you'll need to change your email with that provider - your details will transfer across automatically on your next sign-in.
If you signed up using an email address directly, please contact us and we'll update it for you.
Searching - Alerts
Sign up for a free account, then use the search to filter events by keyword, country or date range. From the results page you can save the search as an email alert.
If you run a search before signing up, you can still hit "Create email alert" on the results page - you'll be invited to sign up to save it.
All your alerts live in your account page. Use the modify or delete buttons there to manage them. Matching results are emailed to you weekly.
First, check that you actually have an alert set up. Alerts are listed on your account page — if there are none there, no emails will be sent.
If your alerts are listed but you're not receiving emails:
- Your search terms may be too narrow — broaden them to catch more events.
- Check the email address on your user account is correct.
- Check your spam folder and add
[email protected]to your safe senders.
Matching results are emailed weekly. You can pause or delete an alert at any time from your account page.
Listing an event
Anyone with a free EventCentral.me account. You should either be the event organiser or have permission from the organiser to list it on their behalf.
As many as you like, as long as you're organising them (or have permission to promote them).
Any conference, training course, seminar, public lecture, webinar or workshop that isn't already on the site. Events can take place anywhere in the world or online.
Events may be delivered in any language, but the listing itself must be in English.
In line with our terms and conditions, listings that are distasteful, promote harassment, hate or violence, or aren't in the general interest of our users will be removed.
No. Your username, email and personal contact details are kept private and never displayed publicly. Only the event details you submit — venue, dates, description, organiser website — appear on the listing.
Visitors who want to contact you about the event use the "Contact organiser" form, which forwards their message to the email on your account without revealing it to them.
We remove a listing when:
- The same event has been listed more than once (treated as spam).
- The listing isn't accurate, is misleading, or isn't in English.
- The content is distasteful, promotes harassment, hate or violence, or isn't in the general interest of our users.
- You've listed an event you don't have permission to add.
See our terms and conditions for the full policy, and contact us if you'd like to query a specific removal.
Managing your events
Go to your account page, find the event in your "My events" list, and click the manage icon. The event opens in editor mode — change anything you need to and click "Update". Changes go live immediately.
Sign in, go to your account page, and click the trash icon next to the event in your "My events" list.
Heads up: deletion is permanent. If you delete an event by accident, you'll need to recreate it from scratch.
Contact & support
